Services
Oliver Power Studio works with homeowners and design professionals across Los Angeles on residential projects of all scales — from single-room renovations to full-house transformations.
Every engagement is guided by the same principle: that good design is only as valuable as its execution.
Architectural Design & Renovation
Full-scope residential design from initial concept through construction. Projects move through schematic design, design development, and construction administration with clear documentation and consistent communication at every phase. Whether the scope is a kitchen, a bath, an ADU, or a whole-house renovation, the process is the same — methodical, well-drawn, and built around your vision.
Interior Architecture & Spatial Planning
Good interiors begin with structure, not finishes. We work at the level of walls, openings, light, and flow — optimizing layouts before specifying a single material. Informed by years living in Japan and a deep respect for how Japanese architecture treats space and material with equal care — doing more with less, and choosing every element deliberately — our spatial planning is precise, purposeful, and scaled to how you actually live.
Indoor-Outdoor Integration
In Southern California, the boundary between inside and outside is a design opportunity most renovations ignore. We treat the transition zones — thresholds, terraces, garden edges — as a core part of the project, not an afterthought. The result is a home that feels larger, more connected, and more suited to the climate it's in.
Design Development & Collaboration
For projects requiring a focused design partner during development phases, the studio is available for consulting engagements with homeowners, contractors, and architecture firms. Oliver works fluidly in SketchUp Pro with Enscape rendering, producing clear, communicative drawings and photorealistic visualizations that keep all stakeholders aligned from design development through construction.
Oliver Power Studio is currently accepting new residential projects and welcomes conversations with architecture and design firms seeking a collaborative design partner.
